As a valued and integral member of a small but dynamic team, the Incident Advisor will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of, and help continue to strengthen, incident reporting and management at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Incident Management, and as part of the corporate incident management function, the incumbent will support the enhancement and standardization of the Society's end-to-end incident management processes and framework through a breadth of activities that includes training and development, analysis, relationship building and maintenance/enhancement of CRC's new incident reporting and management tool, Resolver. S/he will work alongside the Deputy Director, Incident Management to re-invigorate and maintain a network of key incident management focal points across the organization (Incident Champions) that will link closely with other champion networks such as Risk and Quality. The successful candidate will join a dedicated group of passionate and inpsired teammates within Risk Services who work together to encourage a culture of risk awareness and readiness throughout the Society. In this role, you will work on: Strengthening of the Incident Management Framework and Related Components Support the design and development of Incident Management Framework components - such as standard operating procedures, training and reference materials, guidance documents, etc. - ensuring continuity of information through all facets of the framework and components. Manage and respond to queries from the Society with regards to the framework. Maintain a strong working relationship with internal stakeholders from across the Society to contribute their subject matter expertise to enhancement of the framework. Maintaining the Effectiveness of CRC's New Incident Reporting/Management System (Resolver) Obtain feedback with regards to the use of the system and assist in system design and development based on user needs and contribute to solve experience issues Address system related queries and provide technical support and coordinate users in the system by maintaining user access and permission levels. Maintain the integrity of the system and quality of data through regular data auditing and cleaning. Oversee system changes and troubleshoot system issues and perform fixes when appropriate. Provide support in the development of training programs and support materials on usage of the system. Incident Reporting and Management Support Provide support for the triaging of reported incidents including identification of appropriate incident managers and escalation of major/critical incidents to leadership. Support in the documentation and management of incidents being stewarded by Risk Services as required. Data Analysis and Reporting Responsible for ensuring integrity of data within the system. In conjunction with the Deputy Director, Incident Management, create regular and one-off user-friendly reports for the Board, Committees and Senior/Executive leadership by extracting, analysing and interpreting data towards incident trends, patterns and predictions. Coordinate and work closely with key stakeholders from other service lines or functions (for example: enterprise risk management) to identify the impact of incidents on other service lines/functions. Team and Incident Champion Network Support In conjunction with the Deputy Director, Incident Management, support in the management of the network through the coordination of regular meetings, coaching sessions, onboarding activities, and the development/dissemination of communication materials. Collect and prepare reporting requirements, meeting minutes and other project files, as required. Provide support on other projects, as required. We are looking for: University degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution with a minimum of 5 years' experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) in a relevant area such as program and project management, process development or quality compliance, preferably in non-for profit or humanitarian organization contexts. Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English. French is an asset. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an enviable attention to detail. Strong Microsoft Office 360 skills (particularly PowerPoint and Excel). Ability to work with spreadsheets and database software such as MS Excel/Access (Power BI an asset). Experience developing risk, program management, training or strategic documents, tools and procedures. Ability to work non-traditional hours on short notice including weekends on occasion. Knowledge of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, is considered an asset.
